The space
Beyond the classic leaf-clad façade and landscaped garden, the home opens into generous, light-filled interiors. Polished basalt stone floors and graceful proportions set a quietly elegant tone, while the open wood fireplace brings a touch of winter magic on colder nights, with crackling timber, a soft ember haze and the kind of warmth that invites everyone to linger a little longer, perhaps with a hot chocolate in hand.

At the rear, bi-fold doors connect the living spaces to a private north-facing garden with pool. Winding wisteria trails along the back of the house, bringing a cascade of lavender colour when in season.

The kitchen is made for slow mornings and easy entertaining, with Caesarstone surfaces, timber benchtops, Miele ovens, an integrated fridge/freezer and generous preparation space. A sunny casual family area sits alongside, inviting guests to gather at the table or curl into the cushioned window nook.

Sleeping arrangements are thoughtfully suited to families, with three bedrooms including a primary suite with ensuite, dressing room and triple glazing. The second bedroom offers generous storage and garden views, while the third is set as a nursery with a cot and triple glazing to help little ones sleep peacefully.

**For stays of two weeks or more, the study can be prepared as a fourth queen bedroom with ensuite, subject to advance notice. This room is currently set up as a study and must be requested ahead of time as the bed will be required to be moved in.

From relaxed days by the pool in warmer months to evenings spent exploring Toorak and Hawksburn’s restaurants, boutiques and village cafés, Wisteria House offers a polished yet personal Melbourne stay with all the ease of a private home.
