How does the Concierge service work?

Our Concierge team acts as a first point of contact between our clients and our preferred partner network. Like a hotel concierge, we can provide referrals to qualified professionals and skilled tradespeople. We can also act on your behalf should you require a managed solution.

What are the benefits of using the Concierge?

By utilising Kay & Burton Concierge, you not only have access to a curated network of qualified professionals and skilled tradespeople, you have the confidence that each will be subject to our strict service level standards, competitive pricing and code of conduct. You also have the option of utilising our managed service, where the Kay & Burton Concierge Managed Services team manages all aspects of the process, so that you don’t have to.

How much does it cost to access the Concierge service?

There is no cost to access our Concierge service. Should you require a managed service, then our Kay & Burton Concierge Managed Services team can prepare a fee based upon your specific requirements.

Do I need to be an existing Kay & Burton client to access the service?

No. Anyone can contact our Concierge team for assistance.

Will I need to pay for each of the services provided?

Yes. You will need to pay each of our preferred partners engaged to provide the services.

Are the services more expensive from your preferred partners?

No. Each of our preferred partners do not charge over-and-above their usual fees for service.

Can I manage the services directly?

Yes. You are welcome to engage a preferred partner directly once introduced by our Concierge team. The preferred partner will advise the Concierge team of the outcome.

Can you manage the services for me?

Yes. For those clients looking for a managed service, this can be provided at an additional cost. Our managed services can be tailored to suit your needs and could include one or more services such as caretaking, co-ordinating renovations, event management, relocation and moving services and connection of utilities.

What kind of services do you have access to?

From cleaning services and renovations through to storage recommendations, our Concierge team is able to arrange a diverse range of property-based services.

Am I obligated to engage your preferred partner?

No. You are under no obligation to engage the referred preferred partner. Once they are engaged however, all arrangements regarding costs, performance and payment are between you and the preferred partner.

How do you select preferred partners?

Each of our preferred partners are vetted prior to agreeing to strict service level standards and a code of conduct. Each are independent entities, curated based on ability, professionalism, competitive pricing and history of success.

How quickly will I hear from a preferred partner?

Once referred, you will be contacted within 24 hours. For more urgent requests, our preferred partners will try to contact you within the hour.

What is the process?

Once our Concierge team has confirmed the scope of services required, an email is sent to you and the preferred partner outlining the requirements. The preferred partner will then make contact with you directly to discuss the scope of services.
