KAY & BURTON—COLLECTION NOTICE

This Collection Notice applies to Kay & Burton Concierge Services Pty Ltd (trading as Kay & Burton Concierge), Kay & Burton Holdings Pty Ltd and each of their related bodies corporate (as that term is defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)) (Kay & Burton, we, us, our) when we collect personal information about you.

You are under no obligation to provide us with your personal information, but if you do not, we may not be able to provide you with the information you have requested, or any of our products or services. By providing your personal information to us, you consent to the collection, use, storage and disclosure of that information as described in our Privacy Policy available at www.kayburton.com.au/privacy-policy (Privacy Policy) and this Collection Notice.

In some circumstances we may collect personal information about you from a third party or publicly available sources, including your other professional advisors (including lawyers, conveyancers or accountants), credit reporting bodies, financial institutions, and third parties that analyse traffic to our website (https://www.kayburton.com.au/), our blogs and our social media channels (which may involve the use of cookies).

1. Purpose of Collection

We collect your personal information primarily to:

  • conduct our business;
  • provide you with products, services and information that you request from us;
  • communicate with you generally in relation to our products or services, including properties that you have expressed an interest in, or properties that you may be interested in;
  • comply with our legal obligations, including our obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth) to complete client due diligence;
  • respond to enquiries and feedback regarding our business, our products or services;
  • process tenancy applications;
  • approve transactional matters;
  • conduct “open for inspections” at properties owned by you, or to allow you to attended “open for inspections”, and ensure prudent security measures are undertaken at all “open for inspections”; and
  • to conduct appropriate credit checks,

and for purposes otherwise set out in our Privacy Policy.

2. Sharing of your personal information

The information you provide may be disclosed to third parties that we may use to operate our business and help us provide our products and services to you and to other third parties that are described in our Privacy Policy.

We may disclose your name and contact and property details to a service provider based in the Philippines who assists with our sales administration process. We will only do so via our own secure systems and infrastructure.

We are otherwise not likely to disclose your personal information to overseas recipients unless it is with your consent, or the disclosure is required or authorised by law.

Our Privacy Policy contains information about how you may access the personal information that we hold about you, seek correction of such information if you believe it to be incorrect, how you may complain about a breach of Kay & Burton’s privacy obligations and how we will deal with such a complaint.
