Designed for up to six guests, ‘Windsor House’ works equally well for family stays, weekends in Melbourne and corporate travellers looking for something rather more special than the usual city accommodation.

The Home
The ground floor is home to three generous bedrooms, each with built in robes and ducted heating and cooling.

Two bedrooms feature queen beds, while the third offers two king singles that can be joined to create a king bed, giving guests additional flexibility for family and group stays. Two ensuite bathrooms and a separate powder room make mornings rather wonderfully uncomplicated, particularly when everyone has somewhere to be.

At the heart of the home, the open plan living and dining area is light, spacious and centered around a gas log fireplace. The wonderful space works just as well for a slow morning over coffee as it does for settling in with a glass of wine at the end of the day.

The kitchen is beautifully appointed with Miele appliances, a generous diner style fridge and freezer and a separate butler’s pantry. Whether dinner is being prepared from scratch or simply plated up from one of Windsor’s excellent restaurants, everything you need is here.

Beyond the kitchen, the home opens out onto a private garden and outdoor entertaining area. Surrounded by greenery and hidden from the world outside, it is ideal for long lunches, relaxed evenings and that rare luxury in inner Melbourne: genuine privacy.

To the front of the home, a formal lounge overlooks the park through plantation shutters, providing another inviting space to read, work, relax or simply escape the rest of the household for an hour or two…
